Senior Structural Engineer

Job description / Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will lead complex structural projects, ensuring design integrity, safety, and compliance with industry standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to landmark construction projects with Adnoc Offshore Civil Building project

Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the design and analysis of structural systems for large-scale civil construction projects.
- Review and approve structural calculations, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements and international codes.
- Collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to deliver integrated project solutions.
- Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction to ensure design intent is achieved.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering professional development and knowledge sharing.
- Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets effectively to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Stay updated on the latest industry technologies, materials, and regulations to drive innovation and best practices.

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
- Professional Engineering license or equivalent certification is required.
- Minimum of 10+years’ experience in structural engineering within the civil construction sector.
- Strong proficiency in structural design software such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS, or SAP2000.
- Deep understanding of local building codes and international standards (e.g., ACI, Eurocode).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, multidisciplinary team environment.
- Willingness to relocate and work in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
