We are seeking experienced Supply Chain and Procurement specialist with strong analytical skills and extensive experience in Procurement Management and forecasting to work with our Beauty Expertise Centre

You will ensure the performance of a supply chain from order to shipment to billing and customer service. This requires the Supply and Demand Planner to track inventory and orders as well as forecast future supply needs.

You will be working in a supervisory capacity, overseeing a variety of different employees and departments within the supply chain to ensure that the overall process runs smoothly. They may work in shipping, manufacturing or supply chain management companies, or they may work on a consulting basis analyzing and coordinating a company's supply chain.

What you'll do:

Procure Materials & Maintain Inventory

The Supply Chain Specialist procures materials for manufacturing and shipment of final products. His aim is to maintain a high level of service for stores - capability of the WH to answers to the needs of retail - and to optimize in continuous improvement the up-stream supply system to optimize cost and shorten lead-times. This includes:

- Ordering in rights quantities of raw materials (fragrance, essential oil) and packaging components (glass, cap, box) for manufacturing & assembling of final products.
- Order processing, cost breakdown analysis and payment management.
- Import legislation compliance & supervision of shipments to UAE.
- Third Party Management: cost optimization, product development coordination, delivery-on-time management ( French speaker will be an advantage for this part )

Respond to Demand

The Supply & Demand Planner must assess current orders and forecast future demand to provide adequate supplies. When something significant changes in the supply chain and demand, the Supply & Demand Planner is responsible for responding to these changes in demand and solving any supply-chain problems that arise to ensure the best product availability on shelves possible. This include :

- Development and management of a basic ERP system to generate the most accurate forecast as possible and to anticipate future needs.
- Constant communication with customers (marketing, e-commerce, retail …) to avoid unforeseen changes, surprise order and to advise them for a better execution of operations.
- Inventory Management to optimize the stock dispatch.
- Export legislation compliance & supervision of shipments to GCC Region.
- 3PL Management - Third Party Logistic (Warehouse + logistic department)
- Supply KPIs + Category Management performance analysis
- Financial budget construction support.

Process Orders

To oversee the supply chain, Supply & Procurement specialist must input and process all orders. Of importance is that they complete and submit all necessary documentation from both suppliers and customers. They also oversee the billing process and paperwork.

Supply & Demand Planner Skills

Supply & Demand Planners are highly organized and detail-oriented individuals who know how to manage overlapping projects, keep track of deadlines, and efficiently use their time. They are strong analytical thinkers with problem-solving skills and mathematical abilities, but they are also great communicators who are persuasive and good at negotiating. To achieve success, a Supply Chain Specialist must take initiative and can identify opportunities for improvement in ways that others cannot.

Requirements

Ideal Profile

- 3+ years of experience in supply chain, demand planning, inventory management, with strong analytical and problem solving skills in high growth organization
- Bachelor/Master Degree
- Shows interest and at ease with numbers, analysis and large amount of figures/data
- Proven track record in supply management and running S&OP meetings
- Oracle and other ERP experience strongly recommended
- Strong knowledge on Supply planning
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
- Analytical skills to gather and interpret data to identify trends, patterns and provide recommendations
- Ability to partner with key stakeholders to meet objectives
- Demonstrate ability to formulate action plans quickly and implement fast and effective solutions
- Top Excellence in Excel and Access skill is an advantage (advanced formulas and modelling capability)
