Job description / Role
Creates and modifies company ERP system by converting any requirements into code using Microsoft SQL Server & Powerbuilder.
Job Duties:
-Confirms system requirements by reviewing the objective, input data, and output requirements with analyst & concerned department supervisor.
-Arranges system requirements in programming sequence by analyzing requirements; preparing a work flow chart and diagram.
-Encodes requirements by converting workflow information into computer language (Powerbuilder / SQL).
-Programming by entering coded information (Powerbuilder / SQL) on the system.
-Performing a sequence of tests to the developed system.
-Prepares reference for users by writing operating instructions (Help).
-Maintains historical records by documenting the system development and revisions.
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
-Have a bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent.
-Experience of Microsoft SQL Server (Required).
-Experience of Powerbuilder 10 or higher (Required).
-Solid Background of ERP modules (e.g. Accounts & Finance, Store & Inventory, Purchase, HR, Plant & Hire etc..)
-Programming Skills.
-Analyzing Information & Problem Solving Skills.
-System Algorithm Design.
-Software Design & Performance Tuning.
-Software Debugging, Development, & Testing.
-Preparing Documentation for the system.
