As the senior technology leader, you will be accountable for defining and executing the technology vision, ensuring platforms are secure, scalable, and compliant.

Client Details

A leading organisation in the FS space is seeking a senior technology executive to lead its regulatory technology strategy and ensure compliance across its digital financial platforms. This is a strategic leadership role focused on aligning technology infrastructure, governance, and innovation with regulatory frameworks, particularly those set by the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) and other regional authorities.

Description

* Define and execute the regulatory technology strategy, ensuring full alignment with UAE Central Bank and regional compliance frameworks.
* Lead technology risk management, cybersecurity, data governance, and business continuity planning.
* Act as the primary technology interface with regulatory bodies, including the CBUAE, supporting licensing, audits, and ongoing compliance.
* Oversee secure cloud infrastructure and ensure platforms meet regulatory-grade standards for hosting, privacy, and resilience.
* Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure fintech platforms are compliant by design while enabling secure innovation and growth.
* Present regular updates to executive leadership and board committees on technology risk posture, compliance status, and strategic initiatives.

* 15+ years of technology leadership experience, including 5-7 years in regulated fintech, digital banking, or financial services.
* Proven expertise in regulatory technology strategy, working directly with central banks or financial regulators.
* Strong understanding of cloud native platforms, cybersecurity frameworks, and enterprise architecture in regulated environments.
* Credible in front of both regulators and engineers, with the ability to translate compliance into practical technology frameworks.
* UAE market experience is essential.
