Senior Virtualization Expert

As a Sr. Virtualization Expert, you will:

- Installs, configure, and manages VMware vSphere environment: vCenter, ESXi hypervisor on new hosts, virtual machines, datastore creation and maintenance.
- Maintains virtualized architecture using vCenter.
- Provides troubleshooting support for incident and problem resolution of the virtualization Infrastructure.
- Uses various resources, diagnose and document lessoned learned for issues concerning ESXi hosts, such as but not limited to, troubleshoot technology issues.
- Implements best operational practices for VMware virtualization environment, and automate where applicable.
- Follows policies and procedures for change, incident, and problem management.
- Creates new and/or revise dated internal documentation for DaaS and SaaS, utilized by either end-users or system administrators.
- Monitors health, performance, and optimization of virtualized architecture.
- Responds to and resolve incident tickets for Virtualization issues.
- Provides after-hour support and on-call support as required.
- Understands and follows ITIL and Agile processes.

Requirements

To bring your dream to life, you'll need:

- 5+ years' Experience managing or developing VMware virtualization infrastructure systems.
- 5+ years' working knowledge of Microsoft server experience
- 3+ years hands-on experience deploying VMware vSphere, HorizonVIew, cVenter vROPs, etc in an enterprise environment.
- 3+ years' Experience diagnosing and resolving vSphere performance issues.
- 3+ years' Experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).
- 3+ years' Experience with storage systems including SAN (FC FCoE), NAS (CIFS and NFS)
- Understanding of Windows technologies and design (Domain Controllers, IIS, & clustering)
- Knowledgeable on Methodologies: Agile, DevOps, ITIL
- A desire to innovate in the UAE
