Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Outline a strategic plan for the programs necessary to describe and implement the essential components of a common project management structure and manage a matrixed team of portfolio executives for implementation and adoption of the set framework.
• Develop and execute an education strategy to prepare delivery leaders and PM community of practitioners with the new project management framework. Provide coaching and mentoring on the practical application of the project management structure.
• Define and implement a compliance mechanism to ensure obedience to project management structure. Also ensure integration and alignment across dependent enterprise efforts such as CMMI.
• Initiate on-going process improvements and establish and track a set of metrics to demonstrate improved business outcomes.
• Work with HR Partner to define skill requirements, core competencies, role definition, hiring guidelines, and associated job families for program and project management. Associate development for the project management role.
• Dotted line execution oversight (portfolio, visibility, knowledge centre, etc.) for high value/risk cross-business efforts.
• Develop and maintain strong and credible working relationships with key stakeholders/ customers personnel.
• Drive communication and cultural change efforts to incorporate program and project management elements into the bigger Services Delivery Excellence Culture and lead teams in understanding the link between XEM’s objectives and individual contributions.
• Conduct weekly, monthly and quarterly operations reviews with Sr. management and Services Management teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor in Business or Computer Science, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.
• 5+ years solutions implementation experience.
• Proven involvement and understanding of project management and implementation.
• Knowledge of Xerox Services products and technology.
• Knowledge of competitive products and solutions.

Job Specific Skills:
• Specialized training and/or certification in; Lean Six Sigma, Business Workflow & Process Mapping, Business Process Improvement Management.

Generic Skills:
• Excellent communication, analytical, facilitation and negotiation skills.
• Self-starter; demonstrates personal initiative and willingly assumes responsibility and ownership.
• Ability to build a motivated, positive, trust-based team and strong working relationships with internal and external customers.
• Strong organisational and presentation skills.
