Job description / Role
The Service Sales Manager is a key sales representative of the Business & General Aviation (BGA) Sales Organization for Service Sales, with primary focus on the Honeywell Avionics Protection Plan (HAPP) for Avionics and The Mechanical Protection Plan (MPP). Additional service offering responsibilities could be added in the future.
This role requires a familiarity across multiple products, systems and services in a given technology area and cross-functional coordination (program management, customer business team and customer and product support). Skill/behavior requirements span several functions with emphasis on problem solving, process orientation, flexibility and responsiveness. Good presentation, proposal development and writing skills for proposal and sales communications are required.
Relationships include:
Linkage to After-market Sales, finance, Marketing & Product Management, Order Management, MarCom, and Customer Support
Responsibilities:
- BGA representative for Aftermarket Sales reporting to the Middle East Sales Director
- Regionally responsible for identifying and pursuing services for new business opportunities and securing annual incremental revenue for the Business Aviation and Commercial Helicopter markets
- Provide internal, Dealer, and Service Center sales training for service offerings
- Responsibilities include all aspects of the sales and marketing process such as market analysis and development of proposals, financial analysis, customer presentations, and negotiation of commercial terms
- Work closely with Sales Director, Regional Sales Managers and CBT in developing specific sales campaigns as well as custom-tailored solutions for operators, Dealers and Channel Partners
- Annual Operating Plan (AOP) responsibility for Services
Requirements
- BS or BA in Business, Marketing, Finance or similar
- 2-5 years of experience in sales, services, marketing, finance, customer or product support
- Six Sigma Greenbelt trained/certified or within six months of assuming the role
- Preferably experience in the aerospace industry
- Knowledge of Arabic or other languages nice to have
