Site Architect

Job description / Role

We are exclusively representing one of the best Multi-disciplinary consultancies in the Middle East who are involved in a large number of projects across the UAE within Residential, Hospitality and Mixed-Use sectors.

Due to a strong year in performance and on the back of several new projects awarded, they are on the lookout for Site Architects to join the team and manage the projects from construction to handover.

Preferably, those who are based in the UAE would be preferred due to the client requirements, however, if you are able to relocate on short notice, we will also consider your application.

Responsibilities:
- Overseeing construction activities from the finishing stage through to project completion.
- Supervising and ensuring quality control of contractors performing finishing tasks
- Attending site meetings, coordinating between main contractors and subcontractors, and ensuring that necessary information is provided to the site team.
- Conducting site visits to assigned construction locations, documenting observations in a formal site visit report or NCR
- Reviewing IFC (Issued for Construction) drawings before they are distributed to the site.
- Reviewing CAD drawings, renderings, layouts, study models, construction documents.
- Ensuring all work complies with relevant codes, standards, and client expectations.
- Coordinating work with engineering and construction teams on-site, ensuring smooth collaboration between all disciplines (Architecture, Interior Design, Landscape, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical) and resolving issues or clashes
- Developing and managing an action list for assigned projects, distributing it to the team for timely follow-up.
- Regularly monitor the project's planned versus actual progress and keep updated on its status.

- Minimum 5 years of experience having worked as a Site Architect
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture
- Experience of working in a consultancy firm
- Arabic speaker (Due to project demands)
- Skills in AutoCAD and Revit
- Valid UAE Driving License
