Job description / Role
Responsibilities:
- Analyse, plan, and develop requirements in line with local authority and company standards for scheduled projects.
- Assist in providing clarifications for any design-related questions or concerns during the tender process and construction phase.
- Determine and define clear project deliverables and establish timeframes using Zoho Projects.
- Oversee project direction to ensure that client specifications and requirements are met, review progress, and liaise with contractors and suppliers.
- Liaise with clients and other construction professionals to ensure project alignment.
- Review site reports, design variations, and shop drawings.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including but not limited to:
- Minutes of Meetings (MOMs)
- Kick-off meetings
- Handover notes
- Snagging notes
- Client reports
- Letters and documentation
- Variation reports
- Shipping lead times
- Supplier RFIs
- Conduct quality inspections and ensure work meets required standards
- Assist the client in pre-qualifying tenders
- Establish and implement training processes and strategies for technical personnel
- Hold regular technical team meetings to assess progress and address project challenges
- Review contracts and ensure compliance with legal requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Construction Engineering.
- Strong, charismatic, and assertive personality with confidence in client-facing interactions.
- Professional Project Management Certification from an accredited institution (preferred).
- Excellent knowledge of building methods and regulations.
- Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies, and methods.
- 3-5 years of experience in the UAE, working in a similar role within the construction field.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with experience establishing guidelines for others.
- Strong sense of personal accountability for decision-making and supervising on-site projects.
- Experience in collaborative, high-level work environments and promoting a teamwork mentality.
- Ability to anticipate challenges and proactively address obstacles.
Salary:
AED
19,000 to 21,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
