Site Director

Job description / Role

Guildhall is recruiting for an accomplished Site Director on behalf of a leading construction and infrastructure company in the UAE. This role will oversee all aspects of site operations, with a focus on large-scale infrastructure and marine engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage full-site operations, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and safety compliance.
• Supervise and support the performance of site engineers and technical teams.
• Serve as the key point of contact between internal departments, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Ensure full adherence to UAE construction regulations and project specifications.
• Resolve complex technical issues and ensure correct implementation of plans and designs.
• Oversee materials procurement, equipment use, and site logistics.
• Monitor project costs, risks, and progress reports for management.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality assurance and compliance.
• Provide leadership on all operational matters and maintain stakeholder communication.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or MEP Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years in construction, including at least 3 years in a leadership position.
• Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
• Background in marine or infrastructure mega-projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Must be registered with the UAE Society of Engineers.
• Must hold one of the following certifications: Land Digging, Filling & Levelling (Abu Dhabi), Building Contracting G+12 (Dubai), or Port and Marine Engineering (Abu Dhabi).
