Site Engineer

Job description / Role

Responsibilities:

- Plan and supervise construction projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage on-site construction activities, including scheduling, quality control, and resource allocation.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective measures as necessary.
- Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and compliance records.
- Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery to meet project schedules.
- Evaluate and resolve technical issues that arise during the construction process, providing expert advice and solutions.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment for all team members.
- Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure efficient project execution and quality standards.
- Participate in project meetings, providing input on progress and identifying potential risks and solutions.

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer or similar role in the construction industry, preferably within the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Proficient in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Willingness to work on-site and adapt to changing project demands and schedules.

Salary:
AED 14,000 to 16,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
