Site Engineer

Job description / Role

Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day site operations and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow.
- Monitor the installation of interior finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E).
- Ensure all interior works meet quality standards and specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections and resolve any on-site issues.
- Adhere to local building codes, safety regulations, and project guidelines.
- Work closely with project managers, architects, designers, and consultants.
- Attend project meetings and provide updates on site progress.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to resolve design or technical challenges.
- Ensure timely availability and proper storage of materials on-site.
- Verify materials and finishes comply with project requirements.
- Coordinate with procurement teams for on-time delivery of supplies.
- Monitor project schedules to prevent delays and cost overruns.
- Work on value engineering and cost-saving solutions.

- Minimum 5 Years of experience.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or relevant field.
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer in the interior fit out and Joinery industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced setting.

Salary:
AED 6,000 to 10,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
