Site Engineer

Job description / Role

Guildhall is working with a leading company in the construction and infrastructure industry to hire experienced Site Engineers for upcoming projects in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong site background and familiarity with UAE regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Interpret technical drawings and assist subcontractors and workers with execution.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams for smooth project flow.
• Implement and monitor health and safety standards on-site.
• Oversee materials and equipment usage and coordinate timely deliveries.
• Maintain accurate site documentation including daily logs, progress reports, and inspections.
• Perform quality checks and resolve site-related issues efficiently.
• Support with project cost tracking and recommend cost-saving solutions.
• Execute additional tasks assigned by project management.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, MEP Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of site experience in construction projects.
• Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
• Currently based in the UAE or Saudi Arabia.
• Team-oriented, reliable, with strong problem-solving skills.
• Must be registered with the UAE Society of Engineers.
• Must hold one of the following certifications: Land Digging, Filling & Levelling (Abu Dhabi), Building Contracting G+12 (Dubai), or Port and Marine Engineering (Abu Dhabi).
