Job description / Role

URGENT Requirement

The position is responsible for day-to-day project management of projects where the company is Main contractor and work involves Roads & Infra projects i.e. Road base Pavement, Utilities, Asphalt etc Projects , covering safety, quality, financial performance, and on-site execution.

Operational Responsibilities
All work must be carried out in strict compliance with relevant SHE standards, including adherence to CDM regulations. Ensure timely agreement of valuations with clients to secure prompt payments and resolve disputes effectively to maximize profit and cash flow. Reporting procedures must be followed, and close coordination with QS is essential for accurate information flow. Operate within the Company’s QA Policy and Procedures, incorporate realistic costs in tender submissions, and maintain focus on working within budget and deadlines

SHEQ Responsibilities
Lead by example to promote a positive business and safety culture, coaching teams and encouraging safe behaviors. Ensure operations comply with the Colas Middle East IMS, with proper supervision, hazard control, and competent, authorized workforce. Actively praise safe practices, challenge and correct unsafe conditions, and maintain open face-to-face communication

The role involves coordinating staff, labor, plant, and subcontractors to ensure efficiency and profitability. Responsibilities include customer service, commercial relations, quality control, and strict compliance with safety, anti-bribery, and regulatory standards. Visible safety leadership, accurate site records, and ensuring workforce training and competency are essential

Essential Qualifications
• Professional qualification in Civil Engineering
• Valid UAE / Oman / Qatar Driving Licence

Experience / Achievements
• Experience in Roads, Infrastructure, and Utilities is mandatory, (Dubai experience required).
• 3 – 5 years’ experience in Civil Engineering Contracting, predominantly involved with roads and earthworks

Know-How
The role requires strong people management and supervisory skills, up-to-date knowledge of specifications and SHE requirements, and an understanding of contract conditions. Good communication, problem-solving ability, and intermediate IT proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word, Project) are essential
