We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical site engineer with structural experience to join our infrastructure team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Review and interpret structural drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and identify potential issues or deviations from the project plan.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical challenges and ensure project success.
• Prepare and maintain accurate site documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and quality control records.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Manage resource allocation and optimize workflow to ensure efficient project execution.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and construction teams.
• Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and team members.
• Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, and regulations relevant to infrastructure projects in the UAE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in structural engineering for infrastructure projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant CAD software.
• Experience with project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated expertise in infrastructure projects (bridges, highways, tunnels, etc.).
• In-depth understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction methodologies.
• Experience in site supervision and management.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality control and safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work on-site in various weather conditions.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in the UAE is a plus.
