Site Engineer (Bridge Maintenance)

Job description / Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Engineer to join our Bridge Maintenance team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Civil Engineer with 3 to 5 years of UAE experience in bridge construction or maintenance projects. This is a site-based role requiring hands-on technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and coordination with project teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Supervise and manage day-to-day site operations for bridge maintenance works.
2) Conduct site inspections, structural assessments, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
3) Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and maintain site records.
4) Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure timely completion of work.
5) Identify and resolve any site-related issues promptly.
6) Ensure all activities are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
7) Implement and adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies on site.

1) Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
2) Valid UAE Driving License (mandatory).
3) Minimum 3 to 5 years of UAE-based experience in bridge construction or maintenance projects.
4) Strong knowledge of bridge structures, repair techniques, and maintenance procedures.
5) Good communication, organizational, and reporting skills.
6) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
7) Previous experience with government or municipal bridge maintenance contracts (e.g., ADM, DOT, RTA).
8) Knowledge of local authority requirements and regulations.

Salary:
AED 6,000 to 8,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
