Site Engineer (Civil)

Job description / Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Site Engineer (Civil) to join our dynamic construction team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing construction projects, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to project specifications and timelines.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to execute project plans effectively.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure work is progressing according to design and standards.
- Prepare daily progress reports and communicate effectively with stakeholders to update on project status.
- Resolve site issues promptly to minimize delays and maintain workflow continuity.
- Ensure all materials and workmanship meet company and regulatory standards.
- Assist in preparing project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports.

Experience: 5–10 Years

- ADNOC site experience preferred
- Experience in civil construction, execution & site coordination
- Ability to read drawings, manage site activities & subcontractors
- Knowledge of HSE & QA/QC site procedures
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, means and methods, and legal regulations.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficient in project management software and MS Office.
- Fluency in English; additional languages related to the region are a plus.
- Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
- Commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards on site.
