Site HSE Officer

Job description / Role

We are looking for a Site HSE Officer with strong field experience to join our team immediately in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of relevant HSE experience, including on-site work within the UAE, and a solid understanding of local safety regulations and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
• Enforce and monitor compliance with HSE plans, regulations, and procedures on-site.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and daily briefings.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses, prepare reports, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Maintain proper HSE documentation and ensure site records are up to date.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure safe operations.
• Foster a proactive HSE culture across all site personnel.

• Minimum 10 years of HSE experience, with at least 2 years in the UAE on construction or industrial projects.
• Diploma/Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related discipline.
• Valid HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA).
• Good knowledge of UAE HSE laws and regulations.
• Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be currently based in the UAE and available to join immediately.
