Job description / Role
Taylor Sterling is looking for an experienced Site Manager to join a global building contractor in Dubai, UAE. Since the 1990s, the client completed projects in the Middle East worth billions of dollars. Client understands the importance of delivering on their promises and as one of the Site Managers, you’ll play a big role in maintaining their reputation.
You’ll direct the activities of Site Supervisors, Site Engineers and MEP staff, plus sub-contractors and consultants on your site to meet the construction programme requirements, while controlling costs and complying with all quality assurance, health and safety, and relevant local legislation.
You’ll need sound construction knowledge and a good understanding of building and construction trades. They are also looking for site management experience, knowledge of up-to-date building techniques and a track record of planning and managing programmes. On a personal level, you’ll be a talented problem solver who knows how to get the best out of people.
Requirements
- 6+ years experience in the Construction industry, preference for candidates who have worked for large contractors in the Middle East
- Good communication skills
- Problem solving skills
- Commercial awareness
- Ability to motivate others
- Teamworking skills
