Overall Purpose of the Job:
The Site QC Supervisor will report to the Production Product Line Construction Manager and will be responsible for implementing QHSE Policies and Regulations on the construction site and taking the lead in the implementation of Project Quality Plan. He will be accountable for all the quality / inspection activities related to site construction & commissioning.

The role is based in Republic of Congo, near Pointe Noire, on a 6/2 rotation, with no B2B. Accommodation will be camp style. Flexibility on shift pattern may be required, depending on project progress or critical activities occurring at planned leave dates.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Responsible for implementing site quality assurance and quality control system in compliance with standards and
• Client requirements.
• Ensure that all necessary inspections as identified in the approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) are being carried out and end results meets the client requirements.
• Monitor and manage the Subcontractor quality team in order to obtain high-quality results.
• Review the performance of Subcontractor QA/QC personnel and report findings to the Construction Manager. If necessary, initiate training to enhance their skills.
• Conduct receiving inspections for all project materials and equipment received on-site, and generate ESD reports for any excess, deficiency, or damage noted.
• Perform storage and preservation checks for project materials/equipments and ensure conformance with the approved procedure.
• Ensure all deviations from the Project Quality Plan and applicable Company specifications are recorded and documented.
• Coordinate with the client representative to ensure inspections are carried expediently.
• Review the quality procedures and ITPs submitted by the Subcontractors and verifies that they comply with the project's requirements and all applicable codes and standards.
• Monitor and ensure the effective implementation of PQP. Take prompt action to resolve quality issues.
• Review the calibration status of all test equipment being utilized on the project and maintain a log.
• Prepare and distribute all weekly and monthly reports required including weld repair trends.
• Provide assistance and guidance to the construction team regarding the Project Quality Plan.
• Assist commissioning team during mechanical completion.
• Maintain a positive rapport with all Client and Subcontractor personnel.
• Maintain accurate records of completed activities, inspection reports, surveillance reports, etc.
• Participate and attend all required client and internal meetings
• Ensure that all on-site audits of the project are conducted in accordance with the project Audit Schedule and that the schedule is current.
• Ensure that all audit findings are acted upon and that recurrences are minimized by following up on audit findings.
• Encourage the use of HSE practices & Comply with all Project HSE necessities, such as PPE and work permits.

Requirements

Job Knowledge and Experience:

• Proven experience as QC Supervisor / Engineer in Oil & Gas or related Construction field (Minimum 8 years).
• Sound knowledge in Welding, NDE, Piping installation, process skid packages, Static and rotating equipment etc.
• Ability to develop inspection guidelines and work effectively with minimal supervision in a diverse multidiscipline team of internal & external stakeholders.
• Shall be fully conversant with applicable industrial standards (ASME, API, ISO etc), codes and specifications.
• Good planning skills and coordination skills, English language fluency and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• French speaking candidates preferred.
• Must be familiar with Quality management system standards such as ISO 9001:2015.
• Applicable certifications in welding & Painting inspections (CSWIP/AWS/NACE etc)
• French language is a must
