Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Review and analyse facility structure, limits, collaterals, pricing, terms and conditions and covenants of approved credit applications and supporting documentation; carry out set up / disbursement processing to ensure operational risks are mitigated in the process
- Liaise with SME Business/SME Credit/Legal during the process of preparation or vetting to clarify and resolve any ambiguity relating to documentation or other concerns.
- Process core banking system maintenance, either as a maker or checker, to ensure processing/delivery/reporting complies with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Escalate system gaps and system downtime which impacts limit and collateral management/reports to ensure that remedial technology support and solutions are obtained
- Review approved credit facilities and prepare required facility, security/charge documents in accordance with the stipulated terms and conditions to protect the bank against the risk of default on onward submission to business
- Receive the ‘executed’ security documents from business and conduct vetting of the legal aspects to ensure that bank’s security documents are in line with the approved terms and conditions and are complete, valid and enforceable.
- Provide documentation clearance to Credit Control and hand over all original ‘executed’ security documents to custodian officers in order to update the bank’s systems for subsequent monitoring and follow up.

Requirements

- At least 4 years of experience (depending on the complexity of the product handled) in banking with at least 3 years of experience in loan documentation / credit administration ( CAD ) and relevant banking systems
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or Banking
- Knowledge about process / systems management related to limit/collateral/exposures etc and Core banking systems and applications
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access)
