Job description / Role
We are looking for an experienced e-commerce candidate that will be able to lead our online business. Helping to create a strong brand image, encouraging online sales, managing the online transaction system, improving user experience, nurturing prospects and customer care, and updating the online store.
Main responsibilities:
* Generate and update website content (products, content, promotions, blogs)
* Work closely with in house graphic designer to come up with marketing banners and graphics for website and social media
* Be able to analyse google analytics, evaluate statistics and come up with coherent digital marketing plans
* Develop strategies to build traffic & sales via the website
* Plan, define and implement website changes and functional improvements
* Maintain and update the online and social media marketing strategies for the website
* Monitor key performance indicators on the website and develop plans to improve them
* Evaluate approaches & strategies to improve website sales conversions & customer engagement
* Develop and maintain strong social media marketing campaigns
* Handle customer care, complaints and queries
* Put in place and develop email targeting and campaigns
* Continue to be up to date with latest online marketing trends
Reporting to: Director
Duration: Permanent Position
Desired start date: As soon as possible
Probation: 3 months
Requirements
Soft Skills and Personality traits: Highly motivated, extremely organised and driven individual that can work independently and within a small passionate team.
The candidate must have a keen eye to detail, be a native English speaker and have a passion for social media and online marketing.
Experience of pet ownership or working in the pet industry is a real bonus!
Specialist knowledge: E-Commerce, Social Media Marketing, Customer Care
Nature and length of previous experience: At least 2 years experience working for an e-commerce company
