Social Media Community Manager

Job description / Role

• Develop, plan, and execute content strategies across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Snapchat, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
• Create and publish short-form video, graphics, and written content that builds engagement and drives follower growth.
• Track and jump on trends fast (if it’s hot today, we post today).
• Manage and maintain the content calendar to ensure consistent publishing.
• Collaborate with video editors, designers, and writers to repurpose ideas into multiple pieces of content.
• Write (or oversee) hooks, captions, and CTAs that convert views into followers.
• Monitor analytics and optimise based on performance data.
• Support influencer collaborations and creator partnerships.
• Engage with the audience through comments, DMs, and community interaction.

*********What Success Looks Like*********

• Rapid account growth (50K+ followers and strong engagement).
• Consistent publishing (minimum 4–5 posts weekly per channel).
• At least 2–3 viral pieces of content monthly.
• Strong brand positioning and inbound leads from organic growth.

• 2–4 years of proven experience growing social media accounts (personal, brand, or founder-led).
• Track record of growing an account 50K+ followers organically — show us your wins.
• Experience creating viral content — and understanding why it worked.
• Strong understanding of TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and Facebook algorithms.
• Excellent copywriting skills for hooks, captions, and storytelling.
• Creative mindset with strong visual storytelling ability.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
• Basic design/editing skills (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite) are a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field (preferred).

Salary:
USD 500 to 3,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Additional benefits: Growth-based performance bonuses.
