THE HYDE DUBAI

Hyde Hotels, Resorts & Residences, part of the world-leading Accor group, today announced the first Hyde hotel outside of the United States, Hyde Dubai Business Bay, in close proximity to the iconic Burj Khalifa directly fronting the Business Bay canal and promenade.

Hyde Hotel Dubai Business Bay, a five-star hotel, is set to open in Q4 2021. The 276-rooms, all with balconies, will be a mix of gracious standard rooms and luxurious suites with views of the Dubai Canal, the Dubai skyline and the iconic Burj Khalifa - the tallest building in the world.

Hyde Hotel Dubai will feature three incredible culinary experiences including the Mediterranean concept, Cleo, contemporary Japanese from Katsuya, hand-crafted burgers from Hudson Tavern. Also on the property will be The Perq, a coffee concept, a lobby lounge, and Hyde pool & lounge as well as a spa, fitness center, a swimming pool and retail area. The hotel's public areas, guestrooms and Cleo will be designed by Ciarmoli Queda Studio. Katsuya, Hudson Tavern and Hyde pool and lounge to be designed by Tristan Plessis Studio.

The Position

This role oversees and leads all marketing efforts in the hotel. Social Media Executive is responsible to create and promote on-brand messaging to customers through various channels with the goal of enhancing the image of the hotel, driving consumer awareness, increasing market share, and building brand awareness.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Under the guidance of the Assistant Marketing Manager, assist in developing collaterals required to support the hotel commercial process. This will range from hotel brochures, collaterals but not limited to photoshoots, filming, site tours and the raising of necessary documentation to specific promotional requirements
- Maintains high level of knowledge of the Hyde product and its brand guideline.
- Oversees all company social media accounts management
- Develops engaging, creative, innovative content for regularly scheduled posts, which enlighten audiences and promote brand-focused messages
- Coordinates social media messaging with advertising departments, brand managers, and quarterly or seasonal company goals
- Manages social media team members, including copywriters and other content creators, by overseeing their work and offering guidance or direction
- Audits and analyses social media presences, including digital advertising costs and returns
- Analyses social media campaigns with tracking systems to gather visitor data and determine efficacy and areas for social media campaign improvement
- Works with other departments to develop social media timelines coinciding with new product releases, ad campaigns, or other brand messages
- Monitors and develops reports on competitor activity within social media spaces
- Maintain good relationships with counterparts at other Hyde Hotels and Accor regional offices; promote Hyde Dubai in other Hyde properties whenever possible
- Work in line with marketing plan and work closely with Digital Marketing for its digital exposure
- Complete all assigned paperwork within a timely manner
- Monitors and maintains media schedules as well as prompt settlement of invoices
- Upkeeps strategic partnerships with external parties, such as banks and media companies
- Monitors competitors' activities and market intelligence and be-proactive
- Fosters strong media relations & generate media coverage
- Organises and supervises photography and videography for the hotel, collateral, advertising and ensures the hotel has a comprehensive master photo library for all advertising, seasonal campaigns and public relations activities.

- Coordinate the design agencies in line with brand essence
- Preparation of digital banners with the related agencies to be used in digital campaigns
- Liaise with appointed agencies, supplying a written brief outlining the specific objectives, target market and any additional information as required and ensuring that the stakeholders are kept aware of all progress in line with brand essence
- To collate and develop the monthly reports
- Administer the Marketing operations budget; support development of marketing budgets. Maintenance of all financial tracking documents
- Serve as the hotel's primary brand ambassador, ensuring that brand guidelines are followed
- Execute the marketing campaigns in conjunction with the Sales, Spa, Food & Beverage departments to ensure profit growth and brand exposure
- Execute the hotel's advertising plan and promotional activities
- Oversee the hotel's creative agency to develop all marketing collateral, promotional pieces, and advertising campaigns
- Work with digital marketing to develop compelling consumer and media content
- Verifies all advertising for the hotel in digital channels is in alignment with brand voice
- Assisting with proof checking and layout decisions for collateral pieces as per brand guidelines
- Support the execution of marketing focused events and be present on the occasions.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

- Minimum 2 years ' experience in marketing, public relations or related professional area
- An experienced communications expert, a dynamic and self-driven, creative individual
- A passionate individual with experience in marketing; traditional & digital; as well as e-commerce
- Strong lifestyle hotel background / luxury lifestyle brand background is preferred
- Fluency in English, written and spoken
