Location

We hire with a focus on Dubai and Europe. For this role, we prefer candidates who are either based in Dubai or working remotely within +/- 4 hours GST time.

Role overview

We're looking for a Senior Social Media Marketing Specialist who is highly creative, data-driven, and results-oriented. As a proactive and autonomous self-starter, you'll be responsible for developing and executing high-impact social media strategies that resonate with a tech-savvy Web3 audience.

This role requires a passion for the Web3 ecosystem and a deep understanding of its core components, including blockchain, decentralised finance (DeFi), NFTs, and DAOs. You'll manage and grow our social media channels, ensuring alignment with our brand's voice and values, while thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you're comfortable navigating change and ambiguity. As a collaborative team player, you will have a strong sense of community engagement, playing a vital role in building our online presence.

Responsibilities

• Developing and managing a comprehensive social media strategy across platforms (Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, Discord, Telegram, LinkedIn, etc.), with a focus on Web3 trends and community building.
• Planning and executing data-driven social media campaigns for brand initiatives, product launches, partnerships, and events.
• Crafting engaging and educational content tailored to Web3 audiences (posts, threads, memes, visuals), in collaboration with content teams.
• Actively monitoring and engaging with the Web3 communityu2014responding to queries, facilitating discussions, and managing conversations to foster trust and brand authority.
• Identifying and collaborating with influencers, thought leaders, and key Web3 players to boost reach.
• Tracking and analysing key social media metrics to provide insights and recommendations for optimising performance.
• Working closely with marketing, product, and community teams to ensure alignment with broader business goals.

Requirements

• 3+ years in social media marketing, including 2+ years specifically in Web3, blockchain, or crypto industries
• Proven track record managing and growing social media channels (Twitter, Discord, Telegram, etc.) for Web3 projects or startups
• Demonstrated success in running data-driven social media campaigns
• Experience in community management and building online communities
• Familiarity with influencer marketing in the Web3 space

Skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex Web3 concepts
• Deep understanding of blockchain, crypto, DeFi, NFTs, and DAOs
• Proficiency in analytics tools (Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or similar)
• Ability to create engaging, educational, and platform-appropriate content
• Skilled at measuring performance and optimizing strategy based on insights
