Job description / Role
Strong understanding of screening technologies software, algorithms, business rules, exceptions and tuning capabilities.
Strong understanding of key concepts around Quality Assurance, Controls, and Audit Trail.
Strong knowledge of the application of OFAC, UKHMT, EU and UNS sanctions for payment and customer screening
Knowledge of SWIFT payments including transactions, cash payments, trade instructions, commodities, metals and securities transactions
Deep knowledge of FircoSoft screening systems :
Firco Continuity, Firco Trust, FMM, FML, FFF, FLV, FOFTEST, FOFLIST, Decision Reapplication, & Stripping Detection
Technical skills:- in Visual Basic, MS Excel and database
Requirements
At least 5 years of experience in banking with at least 3 years of experience in compliance, regulatory or technology compliance roles
At least 2 years of hands-on experience Tuning and/or Implementing FircoSoft Continuity and/or FircoSoft Trust.
Tuning quality and impact on alert rate
Creation of MI and Metrics
Result of third party reviews and audits
System configuration is validated by independent third parties
INA reviews confirm the accuracy of the risk and issues logs
Bachelor or Master’s degree in computer science, finance/accounting or mathematics with excellent quantitative skills
ACAMS certification is good to have.
