Description
We're looking for a Software Engineers who will be working on cutting edge technologies and new product developments here at Fetchr. You will be participating in all aspects of architecture and developing new and innovative applications as part of the Technology team in our Dubai HQ.
This is a great opportunity for a Software Engineer, who is excited about coding, search, data analysis and solving complex problems and who enjoys working with technologies like Java, Python, rest framework, microservice, and AWS.

Requirements
What you'll be doing:
- Participating in regular bug fixing Intimate knowledge of Git, Github, AWS
- Designing, developing, and enhancing infrastructure primarily using Java or Python to build a platform that everyone can use to create the channels of tomorrow.
- Experienced in distributed computing, information retrieval, data mining, and machine learning. Participate in architectural, design and product sessions.
- Developing innovative solutions based on product requirements and business challenges in both Python, Java and or Javascript.
- Ensuring all code is suitable for automated unit testing and own code coverage.
- Interacting with different stakeholders to gather feedback and clarification.
- Researching and applying new technologies and best practices.
- Designing and creating efficient RESTful endpoints for both internal and public consumption
- Providing task estimations and deliver quality code on time
Requirements
What you'll need to succeed:
- A solid foundation in Design patterns and microservices architecture
- At least 2 years + of experience. Dedicated to technology scopes provided.
- Extensive experience programming in Java and Javascript.
- One or more of : Java / JSP / Java EE / Python / Javascript
- RESTful APIs.
- One or more of : PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, MongoDB
- Data Structures and Algorithms Expert
- Hands on Linux Experience
- Testing experience (jUnit, Arquillian) / TDD / Unittest
Additional Skills (Great to have)
- C++ / C / C#/ Go / Scala
- Nginx or Apache
- AWS/ API Gateway / etc
- Weka, JavaFX, TensorFlow, Scikit Learn
