Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Design and write test cases.
• Perform different types of testing (exploratory, functional testing, performance testing, confirmation testing, etc.).
• Create test scripts for newly added features.
• Involve in sprints planning to define changing scope.
• Maintain testing checklist and keep it up to date.
• Participate in testing discussions and scrum meetings.
• Participate in developing test cases that verify that all project requirements are met.
• Document step-by-step procedures for carrying out test cases.
• Execute, complete, and document all assigned test cases during an Agile testing sprint.
• Create tickets for issues discovered during testing, as well as updating and closing tickets.
• Collaborate with the development team on issues discovered during testing.
• Provide and participate in making test estimates and test strategies.
• Support production users of our tools on issues discovered in production.
• Analyze the issue and create tickets against the appropriate team.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Solid experience in software development.
• Solid experience in using API test technologies such as Postman.
• Good knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
• Good knowledge of object-oriented programming.
• Hands-on experience in manual, exploratory, and functional testing.
• Knowledge of test methodologies, software development process, and testing lifecycle.

Nice to Have

• Experience in automation testing frameworks.
• Experience with Selenium and Appium is a plus.
• Experience with JMeter and Jenkins is a plus.
• Familiarity with Charles Proxy is a plus.
• Performance and load testing experience is a plus.
