ROLE DESCRIPTION:

- Solution Advisor Associates supports the execution of solution/LoB demand generation and other business development activities and programs which result in increased solution/LoB pipeline, revenue, and elevation of SAP's leadership position in a solution/ LoB segment. Provides support to more Senior Solution Advisors during the "awareness and (re) consider phase of the customer lifecycle". May support the sales team and the VAT during the "evaluate and select" phases of the lifecycle, extending the solution expertise of the team, where needed.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:

- Area 1: Content creation in areas such as white space template build and maintenance, Lob/Solutions portfolio planning, perform online research. Assist in the preparation of references, customer success stories, benchmarking analysis and customer follow up inquiries and other solutions/ LOB business development priorities for both Software and Cloud environments cross- industry and customer segment. Awareness of our competitive advantage for customers and prospects.
- Area 2: Provide solutions GTM support in the identification and development of opportunities. This could include areas such as: enablement, launches, ramp-up, solution strategy and roll-in, pricing, investment cases, M&A, strategic partnering.
- Area 3: Builds upon and uses solutions/ LoB domain expertise and input from others to create re-usable sales tools to scale field sales (e.g. value content, one-pagers, package solutions, recorded presentations, etc). Has a baseline understanding and can speak to SAP technology features and capabilities. Map customer's business needs to SAP solutions or modules
- Tasks: Conduct market research for targeted solutions/ LoB segments. Support new solution product introduction requirements. Perform white space business process solution gap identification and analyses. May aggregate content for field training and enablement. Capture best practice sales approach references, win stories, etc.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

- Previous professional experience or internships preferably in solution/LoB business development, or software industry marketing.
- Awareness of Cloud in the B2B environment and knowledge of cloud, Hosted Services, and SaaS/ PaaS models, cloud -based commerce/ business networks a plus.
- Strong interest in business processes, software and technology; familiarity with enterprise software a plus.
- Conversational fluency in English a plus, any other language an asset. Fluency in the language of local markets required.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES :

- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) required, MBA or equivalent degree required from accredited university preferred
