Solution Architect (Presales) - Big Data And Advanced Analytics

Job description / Role

Our client is a leading Data Analytics and AI Firm in the region who are currently seeking a Solution Architect - Big Data & Advanced Analytics based in the UAE.

Role Purpose:

Drive the development of end-to-end solutions for client needs, aligning business requirements with technical capabilities across multiple technologies and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

- Understand and translate client needs into innovative, scalable technical solutions.
- Lead architecture design and provide technical leadership across the solution lifecycle.
- Collaborate with internal teams, partners, and vendors to design use cases and service strategies.
- Evaluate technologies and recommend tools to meet business and technical goals.
- Prepare solution cost models and competitive pricing.
- Ensure security, compliance (including BCMS), and business continuity in designs.
- Support implementation with integration planning and oversight.
- Conduct technology research and promote innovation.
- Guide internal teams and participate in project reviews for timely delivery.

- Bachelor's in Engineering / Computer Science (Master’s preferred).
- Certifications: ITIL, TOGAF, and preferably in Data Science, AI/ML, Big Data, or Software Engineering.

Experience:

- 8–10 years in IT, with at least 5 years in software architecture and presales.

Skills:

- Strong background in solution architecture for analytics, big data, and reporting.
- Hands-on experience in setting up Big Data platforms.
- Proficiency in Java, Python; knowledge of C++, SQL, web development, and open-source tech.
- Experience handling complex software projects with a focus on performance, scalability, and security.

Salary:
AED 40,000 to 45,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
