Position Title: Sommelier

Salary: up to 7.8K AED depending on experience and qualifications plus service charge, tips and incentives

About the Client:
A prestigious, luxury 5-star hotel located in the heart of Dubai, renowned for its exceptional service and world-class hospitality.

Job Description:
• Curate a diverse and high-quality wine list, ensuring wines complement the Italian cuisine served and enhance the dining experience for guests.
• Properly present and serve wines, including decanting when necessary, while educating guests on the wine’s characteristics, origin, and pairing options.
• Oversee wine inventory, ensuring appropriate stock levels, managing wine orders, and maintaining optimal storage conditions to preserve quality.
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences, offer personalized wine recommendations, and provide informative wine tastings to enhance their dining experience.

Qualifications:
• 38 years and below
• At least 2 years of experience as a Sommelier in a fine-dining Italian restaurant setting
• In-depth knowledge of Italian wines, wine regions, and wine pairings with Italian dishes.

Salary:
AED 6,500 to 8,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
