Spa Supervisor

Job description / Role

The Spa Supervisor, as guided by the Assistant Spa Manager, will maintain the standards of So Spa etiquette and service in all interactions with guests and staff. Responsible for overseeing daily aspects of all guest services areas including customer service, scheduling and yield management for all arriving in-house guests. Consistency and understanding when implementing So Spa's business objectives, as they relate to operations, guest service, finance, human resources, marketing and health & safety is imperative.

To train and manage the operational team members to be accountable for their actions and to be conversant in the business objectives. Monitor operational activities and issues daily and shift by shift within the spa.

Requirements

Maintain current knowledge of all spa services, pricings, offerings, schedules, specials and other services provided at the spa. Set the example by using proper etiquette and professionalism at all times. Look for every opportunity to suggest new and enhanced guest experiences, to encourage positive staff behavior, and to direct effectively.

Communicate housekeeping and maintenance requests to the relevant departments. Assist operational team members where needed in all aspects of the business operation. Practice methods which comply with health and hygiene guidelines and ensure cleanliness meets Standard Operating Procedures in all areas of the spa.
