Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

JOB PURPOSE: To coordinate facility requests and monitor the agency portfolio to ensure compliance with ADCB policies, procedures and guidelines.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Agency Set Up: Create new agency CID and prepare control and monitor sheets to ensure required records are in place for all new customers facilities, covenants are recorded in CACM system and cash waterfall and accounts are opened per the agreement

Facility Agreements: Ensure conditions precedents have been met and notification is provided to lenders/borrower as per the terms of the agreement

Legal Clauses and Potential Defaults: Issue notification of intention to borrowers to invoke clauses, based on lenders instructions and issue notification to lenders of any default (actual or potential) to ensure compliance with covenants/information undertakings and other terms of the agreement

Drawdowns, Rollovers and Fee Collection: Notify drawdowns, rollovers and repayments to borrowers and lenders within agreed turnaround times and ensure LIBOR/EBOR rates are in line with rate fixing for the interest period as provided by ADCB treasury or specified in the facility agreement to ensure all conditions are met and funds can be dispersed

Covenants: Ensure information covenants are distributed to lenders promptly once received from the borrower. For any payment default or technical default, ensure information is passed amongst lenders and borrower

Reporting: Create reports of fees due to be received within the next 30 days for all agency facilities on a monthly basis to ensure consistency and compliance with ADCB policy

Policies, Processes, Systems and Procedures: Adhere to all relevant organisational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out to the required standard and in a consistent manner while delivering the required standard of service to customers and stakeholders.

Requirements

Minimum Experience: At least 5 years of experience in banking with an understanding of legal documentation and trade finance.

Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant specialization

Knowledge and Qualifications: Risk Management Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
