Employment: Full Time

Job purpose

The purpose of this position is to be responsible for managing and developing collection strategies focusing on segmentation of delinquent accounts for further collection actions to cure delinquency and reduce bad debt. This responsibility encompasses strategy development and performance monitoring. The role is supervisory in nature, requires close monitoring of collection performance, analyze portfolios running strategies and recommend refinement to achieve financial KPIs and reduce bad debt

Requirements

Minimum experience:
• Minimum of 10 years' experience with strong background in data and financial analysis and statistical modeling

Minimum education:
• Minimum Bachelor's degree, preferably Post Graduation Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Business Administration, or other quantitative analysis degree is a must
• Additional Finance certification or accreditation is a plus

Knowledge and skills:
• Strong understanding of credit control and collections policies, practice and procedures.
• Proven Team management skills with culturally diverse teams to achieve aggressive financial and operational targets.
• Good presentation and report writing expertise.
• Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
• Natural ability to build trust and rapport with other department work colleagues
• Attention to detail
• Understanding of IT systems and quality assurance processes
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities, workload and tasks
• Comfortable working with people at senior levels.
• Fluent in English and preferably also in Arabic
