Responsibilities
The LEAN Transformation Specialist will play a critical role in analysing, designing, and implementing operational improvements within the Group's portfolio of channels and brands. The role requires technical expertise in LEAN methodologies and tools to create value stream maps, conduct gap analyses, and track project outcomes. The Specialist will also collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the effective execution of optimization projects.
- Strategical
- Conduct detailed assessments to identify opportunities for LEAN initiatives and operational improvements.
- Align improvement projects with brand goals and operational strategies.
- Contribute to the development of detailed project plans and timelines.
- Technical
- Perform detailed data analyses to identify inefficiencies and quantify improvement potential.
- Create and maintain value stream maps (VSMs) to document workflows and identify waste.
- Use tools such as Power BI or Tableau to develop and present performance dashboards.
- Operational
- Conduct workshops and gap analysis sessions with operational teams to identify pain points.
- Help define and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) based on optimized processes.
- Monitor and report on KPIs such as lead time, costs, and product availability.
- People Management
- Build strong working relationships with operational and brand teams to facilitate data collection and process reviews.
- Act as a liaison between departments to ensure smooth project execution.
- Provide mentorship to associates, helping them develop their technical and analytical skills.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or logistics.
- 2-5 years of experience in operations, supply chain, or process improvement in retail or consulting.
- Proficient in data analysis tools (Tableau, Power BI, Excel).
- Working knowledge of value stream mapping and process optimization tools.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Customer centricity.
- LEAN or Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus.
- Arabic proficiency is advantageous.
