Specialist – Regulatory Reporting (Central Bank)

JOB PURPOSE:

To manage and produce accurate and timely reports, respond to Central Bank queries, seek explanations from internal stakeholders, escalate issues and manage/review/train junior employees responsible for regulatory reporting inorder to ensure alignment and compliance with the UAE Central Bank reporting requirements and no issues/penalties are received.

Requirements

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Report Preparation, Analysis and Review :

Prepare, analyse and review regulatory reports, liaise with internal stakeholders to explore, challenge and seek explanations for any anomalies in any element of regulatory reports to ensure reports submitted to the UAE Central Bank are a true and accurate reflection of the banks financial position and avoid any penalties.

Central Bank Reporting :

Input and submit accurate and timely regulatory reports via the Central Bank platform within the agreed timescales in order to ensure that all regulatory reports to the UAE Central
Bank are submitted within the preset timelines

Continuous Improvement/Automation :

Continuously review reporting practices and systems and identify areas for improvement/automation in order to shorten reporting timelines, improve accuracy and turnaround times.

People Management :

Manage self and team in line with ADCB’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own and employee contribution to business performance Organise and supervise the activities and work of the team to ensure that targets and objectives are achieved and the business plan is delivered in line with the required policies, processes, procedures and systems.

Monitor and review the work of team member and provide necessary training to ensure they have the required knowledge and skills in order to produce regulatory reports and carry out their day-to-day role requirements.

Policies, Processes, Systems and Procedures :

Implement approved departmental policies, processes and procedures, and ensure employee adherence so that work is carried out to the required standard while delivering the required standards of service to customers and stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement :

Manage and motivate the team to ensure they contribute to, and participate in, the identification and implementation of change initiatives, programmes and projects in line with the bank’s standards.
