Employment: Full Time

Job Purpose
Implement the group’s sourcing and talent acquisition strategies and programs to support the timely availability of capability within the Group, in line with the business requirements.

Principal Accountabilities

Talent Acquisition
• Execute an annual recruitment plan to outline the most appropriate approaches and processes for identifying and selecting high caliber talent for technical and non-technical vacancies into required roles in a timely manner, incorporating Emiratization objectives.
• Conduct proper sourcing of candidates through different portals and sources to ensure attracting and getting relevant applicants.
• Conduct first level screening and shortlisting process, along with the HRBPs as per the guidelines to ensure timely and efficient completion and documentation of activities
• Work with the Business Heads and HR Business Partners to arrange for the interviews and ensure the process is completed within the agreed timelines.
• Communicate the results to the applicants to ensure proper communication of next steps/
• Maintain professional relations with local, regional and international recruitment agencies in order to source qualified candidates.
• Implement the end-end assessment and selection process and ensure its fairness and objectivity.
• Recommend appropriate methods of recruitment and selection, provide guidance on available and viable alternatives.
• Develop proposals and cost analyses for recruitment campaigns and obtain approval for the same, from line management.
• Ensure proper record keeping of the recruitment process on the recruitment system to ensure accuracy of information/
• Provide generalist services including preparation of recruiting materials, application review and evaluation, and preparation and evaluation of written and practical tests.
• Develop and revise recruitment specifications for each vacancy.
• Coordinate requests for temporary staffing services and monitor the cost of such temporary staff.
• Participate in the selection of overseas recruitment service providers and monitor that they comply with the requirements outlined in the supplier contract.
• Coordinate with external agencies to progress recruitment activities.
• Prepare offers of appointment/ contracts based on upon agreed grade, salary and terms and conditions, obtain signoffs from appropriate authorities, make offers to selected candidates, negotiate within approved limits and obtain the candidates’ acceptance of the offer.
• Determine their date of joining as agreed with line managers.
• Provide progress reports on recruitment to management on a monthly basis.
• Maintain the Application Tracking system to ensure that Management and applicants are timely informed about the progress of recruitment and the application status.
• Evaluate issues and problems related to recruitment activities.
• Track the effectiveness of the selection methods and suggest changes as required.
• Interpret the administrative implications on recruitment and testing as a result of changing legislative and regulatory requirements and prepare related reports.
• Keep abreast with latest developments in recruitment techniques, procedures and other technological advancements
• Monitor market conditions on recruitment and advise the management appropriately.

Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
• Implement approved Section policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the Section’s work programs in line with Company and International standards.
• Execute the leadership development process (calendar, process, tools, talent reviews) to ensure the process is ongoing, consistent and integrated into key business planning priorities.
• Comply with the requirements of the Integrated Enterprise Risk Management System relevant to domain risks and implement measures to mitigate all identified risks from a Department perspective.
• Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of products, operational processes, procedures and services.
• Identify and recommend improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency and productivity.

Relationship Management
• Develop and maintain of effective key business relationships with all relevant external/internal entities and all sections with the highest standards of business ethics, whilst promptly attending to all critical issues in-order to ensure the services required by the organization are delivered in the most effective manner.
• Work closely with Heads of Department and colleagues across the Group.
• Interact with staff across the Group on matters related to Talent Acquisition.
• Collaborate with Consulting firms and other third-party service providers for the provision of Talent Acquisition related tools and services, e.g. job portals, assessment centres, psychometric tools, etc.
• Network with industry peers for market information and exchange of thoughts or information on professional domain matters.

Reporting
• Provide inputs to enable the Section Manager to prepare weekly and monthly reports for the section to report progress on compliance with SLAs.
• Maintain and monitor a quarterly reporting dashboard for the HR management review, track and collect data analysis from various HR departments.

Requirements

Educational Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in HR or equivalent, with specialized training in Talent Acquisition.
• Professional certification such as CIPD is preferred.

Experience Requirements:
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in HR

Skills Required:
• Thorough understanding of the roles and role requirements
• Ability to conduct proper screening and evaluation of CVs
• Ability to use online systems and portals in sourcing candidates
• Ability to work with external agencies
• Ability to be a good communicator and negotiator
• Ability to conduct assessments for hiring
• Thorough understanding of UAE Labour Law.
