Job description / Role
The position will require management of various aspects of the specifications function as below;
• Visit architects & consultants in order to have the Company’s products specified and approved for use in all major projects.
• Market the full product range.
• Ensure that all worthwhile projects and leads are listed, visited and followed up with offers, demos, samples and negotiations.
• Address technical queries from customers and sales team
• Explore / identify further market potential for Terraco products.
• Prepare product presentations / submittal packages for the sales team
• Assist with marketing materials / packaging etc.
• Organise seminars / introductions to different segments of customers.
• Liaise with government authorities
• Benchmark competitors.
Requirements
• Strong presentation / communication skills
• A strong background in sales / specification / marketing in coatings, paints, construction chemicals.
• Minimum 5 years experience required. Experience / knowledge of EIFS preferred.
• English fluency a must. Additional languages give an added advantage.
• Familiarity with MS Office etc required.
• Valid UAE driving license required.
Miscellaneous
The Specification Engineer will report to the Sales Manager. The position will be based at the company’s office in Dubai. Travel will be required during the course of the job.
