Job description / Role
Our client, a semi-government healthcare organisation is seeking a Specimen Management Lead to be based in the UAE. The ideal candidate is required to have experience in handling laboratory specimens.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the following activities:
- Preparing laboratory specimens
- Managing the flow of day to day operations in the laboratory
- Preparing excess specimen samples for storage
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a management position
- Must hold a Medical technologist/Technician license (DHA/HAAD)
- Experience in unpacking specimens received for testing.
- Experience in preparing the specimens before laboratory analysis and testing.
