Job description / Role

Sport Services Supervisor (4 openings)

Coordinates the delivery of required sports and athlete services during competitions (e.g. presentations, publications, catering and cleaning services, Medal Ceremonies execution, delegation services, etc.).

• Supervises the sports related daily operations within a zone space.
• Inspects malfunctioning equipment, and plans maintenance schedules.
• Maintains all data show and projectors, sound systems are instantly working as needed and arranged
• Arranges the presentation materials and delivery of them during the event
• Provides all requested cleaning services in the zones for all sports areas, rest areas and audience and VIP guests places.
• Checks and maintains all sports tools are in place and in the best condition for athletes’ usage.
• Ensures all arranged services deliver on time, makes sure to be tested and selected as per management directions.
• Arranges for all medal ceremonies with all needed requirements accordingly
• Attends meetings with senior management for tracking reports, feedback and decision-making recommendations.
• Any other duties might be assigned to this role

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher Diploma from a reputable university in Business Administration in Management, or Health and Physical Education, Sports & Exercises fields

Languages
• Fluency in English is required.
• Fluency in Arabic is preferable.

Experiences
• A minimum of 6 - 10 years of relevant experience in events management preferably in sports field.
• A minimum of 2+ years in a leadership or management role with exposure to major events is recommended.
