Sports Therapist for a Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Center

Job description / Role

• Sports Therapist up to 12K AED for a Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Center in Dubai
• Helping to prepare athletes both mentally and physically
• Advising about stretching and warming up exercises
• Giving massages and applying strapping and taping techniques to provide support
• Giving first aid if required
• Checking injuries and strappings
• Making decisions about whether athletes and players can continue
• Examining and assessing injuries
• Administering treatment for minor injuries such as bruises, strains and blisters
• Referring individuals to appropriate sports and medical practitioners for further treatment
• Accompanying injured athletes and players to appointments
• Examining and assessing injuries
• Providing appropriate treatment
• Designing and implementing rehabilitation and detox programmes
• Advising about nutrition, diet and lifestyle issues
• Collaborating with trainers and coaches on injury prevention programmes

Requirements

• European/Western candidates are preferred
• Female, 40 years old and below
• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education/Sports Science/any relevant certification/training, is required
• Minimum 2 years of experience as Sport Therapist, preferably in a medical/fitness/wellness center
• Qualified Fitness Instructor who are eligible to apply for DHA license is welcome to apply
• Knowledge of physical technique and therapy on rehabilitation and treatment
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Candidates outside UAE are welcome to apply
• Can join immediately (max 1-month)
• Work Location: Dubai, UAE
• Salary up to 12,000 AED depending on experience and qualifications
