Sr. Accountant up to 8k AED for a High-End Salon in UAE
- Position: Senior Accountant
- Salary: up to 8,000 AED depending on experience and qualifications

- Open to INDIAN and PAKISTANI nationals
- Male/Female, 35 years old and below
Job Description:
- Establish appropriate procedures and controls the department, which ensures that all financial transactions are accurately recorded in the books on a timely basis and are adequately supported
- Ensure presence of adequate internal control procedures for financial accounting and compliance with the established policies and procedures
- Supervise all the activities of subordinates to ensure all transactions are accounted in Focus in compliance with the accounting standards adopted by the company
- Supervise month/year-end closing of accounts related activities to achieve the targets scheduled in coordination with other team members within Finance departments
- Administer General Ledgers of all the group locations i.e. Head Office, and Branches, which includes the updating of the group locations, opening and closing of accounting periods in the system, appending, modification and closing of posting cycle for the journal vouchers
- Supervise the input of transactions into General Ledgers
Requirements
Education/Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or professional certifications such as ACCA/ACA/CPA
- At least 6 years’ experience working as an accounting clerk/accountant / 3-4 years of relevant experience with bachelor’s degree / 1-2 years of relevant experience with professional certifications such as ACCA/ACA/CPA
- Proficient understanding of Focus, Tally or Peachtree
- Candidates with UAE experience would be preferred
- Working knowledge of International Accounting Standards
- Understanding of accounting practices in the services industry
- Proficient in English language
- Effective communication, analytical & problem solving skills; ability to independently take decisions
- Good supervisory and planning skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Good employee management skills, and effective leadership qualities
