Sr. Manager / Digital Architecture-Security Solutions

Brief Description

Provides consultative leadership and technical expertise in Pre-Sales engagements related to Digital Security Services. . Manages the proposal composition for customer requests and major bids. Works in close coordination with Sales, Security Sales Specialists, Solution Architects,Security Partners/ Vendors and customer IT team to develop product and solution designs. Responsible for understanding customer requirements, coordinating with internal departments and outside vendors to develop solutions and offerings that leverage Etisalat products and services to address these requirements. Subject Matter Expert in Security Products/ Services

Job Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Engineering,Computer Science, Information Technology or an equivalent discipline.

Candidate required to have any of the following certifications.

Certifications: CISSP, CCIE security, CISM, ISO 27001, SANS

Knowledge of : Security standards like PCI, HIPPA

Good to have: NISA, ADSIC

Product certifications: Firewalls,SIEM, Vulnerability management, NIDS/NIPS, WAF, DDOS

Mandatory Experience:

The candidate shall be SME in Architect and design security for Data center, application hosting, cloud security, security monitoring,threat management, cyber security, threat intelligence, pki, encryption solutions.

Shall have the below experience for the above security solutions.

Responding to RFI, RFQ, RFP in managed security services scope

Writing Statement of work / contract documents

Developing complete solution response involving, people,process, tools and technologies

Knowledge of different engagement models

Develop customized solutions

Evaluating different security vendor products

Knowledge on productivity improvements

Know how to optimize the solution

Worked on multi year deals minimum 3 years

Understanding of different cost elements in managed security services

Deriving the value proposition to customers

Experience in solution defense presentations

Customer requirements gathering, analyzing, identifying the gaps and proposing the solutions

Interacting with various stake holders inside the organization and outside the organization

Identifying and designing the SLAs, KPIS, reporting metrics

Different phases of the proposal development

Preferred industry : System Integrators / Managed Security Service Provider

Requirements

1.Identifies and clarifies customers current and future business initiatives and needs and respective technical requirements.

2.Collects information from customer about their existing IT and telecommunications infrastructure and conducts requirements analyses.

3.Communicates with respective Sales and Security Sales Specialists to understand customers history, competitive environment, planned strategy, tactics and other sales activities.

4.Ensures that information on existing products and services is available by interfacing with Product Marketing, Product Development, Service Delivery and Engineering/ Network Security.

5.Creates demand on customers side

6.Provides technical leadership/support/advice on the development of proposals, bids and solution selling related to Digital Security Services.

7.Researches software and hardware products or Digital Security Services, and finds best solutions and prices to meet business requirements.Subsequently, present and translate the design to customers to ensure the solution/ service will meet the customers' requirements.

8.Assesses price, performance and quality relationships for each solution as well as its total cost of use.

9.Compares possible Digital Security services/ solutions with competitors solutions in terms of price, quality and performance and prepares supporting arguments for presentation and negotiation with customer.

10.Identifies current and future opportunities for cross and up-selling and proposes them to Sales/Security Sales Specialists.

11.Provides technical advice to Sales/ Security Sales Specialists and gives technical direction, guidance and higher level technical support.

12.Develops winning proposals for customer requirements/RFPs, working closely with Etisalat Legal function,Sales Manager, Product marketing and vendor partners. Carries out effective customer presentations to present solutions proposed.

13.Supports Professional Services and Project Management teams and Etisalat contracts in developing project plans, negotiating and drafting scope of work and contract documents.

14.Develops training and Conducts training sessions to sales on Etisalat Services and products.

15.Presents Etisalat in technical and marketing events working closely with product marketing to present Etisalat products and services.

16.Continuously evaluates existing security services, proposes product enhancements and making sure with Product Management team that enhancements are commercialized
