DESCRIPTION
Join Amazon Last Mile Technology team in Dubai to help transform the delivery experience for customers with unprecedented quality, efficiency and scale. Each time a package is delivered by an Amazon associate, technology is at the scene, and behind the scene. Today, Last Mile Technology supports Amazon global business initiatives including Amazon Logistics, Prime NOW, Amazon Flex, and Amazon Lockers, and its scope is expanding every day.
- Create the vision and product roadmap for the next generation of station operation technologies.
- Manage product backlogs, feature intake and prioritization, stakeholder communication and project execution.
- Create, write and review user stories and business requirements, perform supporting research and analysis, write product specifications, and drive the product development schedule from design to release.
- Work closely with operations teams to re-define business processes and deliver disruptive technology solutions.
- Work closely with UX and engineering teams to define, build and deliver next generation of operator tools.
- Retrieve and analyze data and establish key business metrics to measure product success.
- Successful candidates will be excellent communicators, curious, highly motivated and effective within distributed teams.
Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, Engineering or Technology.
- 5-8 years of Product management experience in technology or Logistics companies
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, support scope of requirements and prioritize.
- Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills are critical to success in this position.
- Proven track record of delivering projects within scope, time, budget and quality.
- An entrepreneurial mindset, with the tenacity to develop ideas independently and thrive in fast-paced environment is crucial.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA
- Experience in supply chain, operations, logistics, or transportation.
- Proven ability to work independently to drive projects to completion.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives.
