Job Description

Main Purpose of the Job:

The role of the Stakeholder Manager is to manage and coordinate the approval of the design with all the project stakeholders and manage their expectations.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

- Be able to clearly coordinate and manage the stakeholder and authorities' requirements within the design team and similarly communicate the design team requirements and objectives with the specific statutory authority/stakeholders;
- Monitor and report on the status of reviews and approvals in line with the project deliverable dates with the client;
- Ensure that the correct procedures and processes are applied when making submissions to the statutory authority/stakeholder;
- An organised and methodical individual in their approach in dealing with the specific statutory authority/stakeholder and subsequently file and store information;
- Able to coordinate and communicate with the client, stakeholders and contractors to ensure that statutory authority/stakeholder requirements are incorporated where required;
- Be able to meet and negotiate with the individual statutory authority/stakeholder
- Well versed in the authority requirements in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi for buildings and infrastructure

Requirements

Candidate Specification

- Bachelors' degree in Civil Engineering or any relevant engineering discipline
- Minimum 8 to 10 years' post graduate experience
- Able to confidently and clearly communicate in both English and Arabic;
- Have knowledge and experience in dealing with the approval process for buildings, roads, and utility designs with the specific statutory authority/stakeholder in the UAE, specifically Abu Dhabi;
- Have strong leadership qualities and a track record of delivery;
- Candidate to ideally have UAE driver's license
- Being able to assess situations in the context of the full business ecosystem
- Continuously looking for innovations and improvements to manage workload and accomplish deliverables across individuals, teams and projects
- Using leadership skills to build and nurture relationships and also creating effective working environments
- Able to manage multiple teams with diverse backgrounds on geographically and culturally diverse teams
