Startup Support Coordinator

Job description / Role

JOB PURPOSE
- Support the overall innovation and startup ecosystem. Interface with startups, mentors, investors and sponsors. Research and analysis on startups.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Mentorship Leading the communication with the mentors
- Surveying startups for mentorship needs
- Proposing and conducting a mentorstartup match based on provided information Ensuring the match and feedback process is streamlined
- Leveraging the forms related to the mentorship program
- Report satisfaction levels and suggested improvements
- Outreach Scouting high quality startups locally and internationally
- Identifying key databases of startups
- Building alliances with influencers in the ecosystem
- Represent KL in conferences and external events
- Coordinate with the Digital Marketing Manager to ensure successful campaigns Startups support
- Interact with the incubated startups weekly if not present in KL or daily if present in KL to ensure satisfaction and direct any concerns they may have to the right departments
- Ensure a successful smooth onboarding of startups from registration on Nexudus to settling in the coworking space
- Create a monthly newsletter that is shared with the community through emailers and through the community board on Nexudus
- Support the coordination of workshops run biweekly by external trainers
- Ensure the digital platform for broadcasting sessions is ready for every workshop
- Events and Partnerships Sourcing speakers and creating copy content
- Coordinating with the marketing team
- Suggesting workshops relevant to the incubator
- Building partnerships that result in sponsorship/event collaborations
- Managing the outreach to community for events
- Manager the event execution and feedback surveys
- Keep the partners database uptodate

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS
- University Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or relevant education
- 25 years' experience in working with startups, accelerators, or VCs Selfstarter with entrepreneurial vision, critical thinking
- Innovative and creative mindset, very organized, good presentation skills
- Experience working in entrepreneurial environments such as incubators and accelerators is preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- The position will be based in Masdar City, Abu Dhabi
- There may be local and international travel requirements depending
