Steel Structural Detailer / Draftsman

We are seeking a skilled Structural Draughtsman to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of structural engineering concepts and demonstrate proficiency in creating detailed technical drawings and plans for various construction projects. As a Structural Draughtsman, you will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure that designs are accurately represented and meet industry standards. Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed structural drawings and plans using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to interpret design concepts and produce clear and precise technical documentation.
- Review and verify drawings for compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Make necessary adjustments and modifications to drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders.
- Participate in project meetings, providing insights and recommendations based on drafting expertise.
- Maintain organized records of all drawings and revisions, ensuring that the most current versions are readily accessible.
- Assist in the preparation of project bids and proposals by providing drafting support.
- Conduct site visits as required to gather information and ensure that designs are feasible and aligned with site conditions.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in drafting technology and industry best practices to continuously improve skills and efficiency.
- Support the construction team by providing accurate and timely information related to the drawings during the construction phase.

- Proven experience as a Structural Draughtsman or similar role in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and building codes.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate collaboration with project teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A degree or diploma in drafting, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

Salary:
AED 6,000 to 7,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
