Store Keeper / Logistics Coordinator

Job description / Role

• Plan the daily deliveries.
• Allocate jobs to the workers to complete tasks.
• Receive requisitions from various departments and issue materials accordingly.
• Monitor the stock and liaise with the Purchase Department to order materials.
• Coordinate with the Quality department to get the goods received checked.
• Ensure that the documents for the receipt and issue of goods are maintained.
• Arrange for storage of finished goods received from the Production department.
• Data entry into the ERP for material received/issued.
• Conduct monthly stock audit and handle inventory control.
• Coordinate with Sales, Production, Accounts, Purchase and Quality Control Department on a regular basis to resolve/finish stores related issues.
• Ensure the delivery of the local deliveries logged in the system by coordinating with the relevant departments.
• Receive the export advice; liaise with the transporters, accounts, stores, QC, sales and production to process the export shipments.
• Maintain and meet delivery schedule report.
• Negotiate and obtain competitive rates from the transporters/shipping companies.
• Carry out shipment invoicing to monitor costs and maintain a report on the cost incurred.
• Facilitate the timely delivery of goods to ensure that deadlines are met and deliveries are not delayed by effectively coordinating with the various departments and transportation companies
• Maintain and send monthly reports on deliveries, so the delayed deliveries and the reasons causing the delay can be assessed and corrected.

Salary:
AED 5,000 to 6,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

A leading furniture manufacturing company is looking for suitable candidates that meet the following criteria:

• Minimum 3-5 years experience in a manufacturing company, preferably furniture manufacturing.
• Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills.
• Strong ERP knowledge related to maintaining the inventory.
