Job description / Role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Store & Logistics Operative to join our dynamic team in the Aviation industry in the Middle East
In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory and logistics operations to ensure efficient storage and movement of products. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our supply chain and ensuring that operational processes run smoothly. Responsibilities:
- Efficiently move and manage materials, components, and finished goods between departments and customers.
- Pack, secure, and prepare orders for shipment in line with established processes.
- Inspect, verify, and accurately record incoming stock.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels using computerized systems.
- Conduct regular cycle counts to monitor and resolve stock discrepancies.
- Process parts and materials for sales orders while managing excess stock as per company policy.
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams including customer service, supply chain, and quality departments.
- Support business initiatives such as process improvements and health & safety programs.
- Coordinate with drivers and logistics teams to ensure accurate documentation and timely deliveries.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a logistics or warehouse role, preferably within the aviation industry.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
- Proficient in using inventory management software such as MRP
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with colleagues and suppliers.
- Ability to lift and move heavy products, as required, and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations pertaining to warehouse and logistics operations.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, is a plus.
