We are looking for a driven, hard working and personable Store Manager for an international luxury Dry Cleaners coming to Dubai very soon!

Requirements

Salary : Basic salary is between 7,000 - 12,000 AED per month. There is also a bonus which is structured around your store s annual turnover and profitability.

Location : You will manage one store and are required to attend the Managers meetings. On returning to store, you will be responsible for communicating messages from the meetings to your team. Any regional training sessions or development days scheduled by the Management Development Team and the Product & Brand Trainers are also a compulsory part of your development and ongoing training. You will be trained in Europe for a period of 6 weeks this summer, and will be expected to train your team on return.

Timings : 6 days per week, working peak trading times, conducting monthly staff and management meetings and stock take. Managers must be prepared to be flexible to the needs of the business and work over weekends and holidays.

The job:

- Putting all of your Management Development training into practice, you ll work with your management team to run the store.
- Keeping the customer experience, ethical selling, team development, sales and profitability as your main priorities by aiming to spend 80% of your working week on the shop floor.
- Spending time with customers to lead by example on the shop floor, whilst observing and supporting the team through clear, consistent shop floor coordination and communication to facilitate the best possible customer experience.
- Delivering, training on and embodying five star customer service and ethics. Together with your management team, you ll be making sure that core company values are communicated and our customers are having outstanding experiences in our stores.
- Inspiring and motivating your team through fun and creative focuses, check ins, and following up through the day before a check out conversation to close the shift.
- Delegating, directing, coaching and supporting the team through clear and regular feedback recognising great customer service and developing areas of opportunity in their personal development and the customer experience.
- Having a high level of awareness of the shop floor and excellent communication and teamwork with your staff.
- Creating a vibrant atmosphere in store with a happy team and customers.
- Checking in with all staff on a regular basis.
- Dealing with staff issues or under performance professionally, quickly and fairly, referring to the People
- Support Team where necessary.
- Creating an open feedback culture in store with an open door policy towards staff queries.
- Maintaining high levels of professional cleanliness and organisation throughout the store and back of house areas.
- Managers oversee the back of house tasks which are shared amongst the whole management team to enable maximum management presence and support on the shop floor.
- Implementing, training staff on and enforcing the company procedures and policies that are communicated to you.
- Keeping the procedures file up to date as new procedures are built.
- Driving and forecasting sales accounting for trends and sales targets.
- Meeting deadlines for monthly paperwork, managerial reports, stock takes and payroll. Looking after your teams well being and work-life balance by organising shifts well in advance, ensuring staff are paid correctly and overtime opportunities are shared fairly. Absence should be monitored and managed.
- Ensuring you and your team take the full holiday allowance while balancing the cover for the store.
- Adhering to the Health and Safety procedures including all daily, weekly and monthly checks.
- Acting upon your analysis of the Management Accounts, Business Drivers, Qlikview and Candy Report, in order to work towards achieving the core group goals in each area.
- Overseeing a professional, on brand presence on all social media channels your store uses.

- Managers should ask for support when needed by contacting the relevant department for their needs.
- Regularly reviewing your whole team to give feedback, praise and assess areas for development together.
- Reviews should provide clear aims and goals to be followed up at future reviews, and on the shop floor.
- Recruiting passionate, dedicated and ambitious staff. Using your retail recruitment training and supporting documents as a guide and reaching out to the Recruitment Team for advice and support.
- Supporting other Managers with peer to peer advice, and preparing your team to do the same when providing cover in other stores local to you.
- Building relationships with the support teams in the business, sharing best practice and knowledge to make the most of your role and your store.
- Helping out with any work that needs to be done in the back, whether be cleaning machines, helping iron, wash, clean.
